Our main purpose is to take in unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens and find them forever homes.
However, we also provide practical animal welfare and rescue support on a call-out basis to a range of agencies.
We will provide more rescue and rehabilitation pens with plenty of space, interaction, stimulation and socialisation, and maintain our policy that “no healthy cat is put to sleep.”
We will build a reception, a new nursery for kittens and their mums and a well-equipped hospital for visiting vets.
We will also build a rehabilitation centre to provide exercise opportunities for obese cats as well as those who have been involved in accidents. There will be a large isolation area to enable better management and disease control.
There is growing demand for us to take in elderly cats when their older owners can no longer look after them or have to move into care homes. We will build three themed retirement villages so that up to 75 cats can live out their lives in peace and comfort.
We will also provide accommodation for rabbits and guinea pigs, as well as livestock to keep down the grass on site.
