Practice of Mindfulness

A six week course of two hour sessions targeted towards teenagers, covering the following topics:

  • What is mindfulness
  • The teenager’s brain
  • Stress relief
  • Meditation techniques
  • Our emotions
  • The five senses
  • How nature and animals can help us
  • Back the basics

Courses running throughout the year for groups of ten maximum in an outdoor setting. Students must be accompanied by two teachers, carers or support workers. Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel to roll for a pillow. Students completing the course will receive a certificate and a badge.
