lockie and chimmy

Much loved members of our village, Lockie and Chimmy came to us for rehoming. Unfortunately Chimmy was found to have a heart condition called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Due to this they moved into our village and have been very happy.

Unfortunately, Lockie loves to wander and regularly makes trips outside the village to explore. This has resulted in several of our Free Rangers ganging up on him. For his own safety, we now have no choice but to find them a home. They remain bonded so separating them is out of the question.

For their safety, they will be looking for more of a rural home

.

Both cats have had no problems getting on with the cats in the village, so we see no reason he can't live with them in a new home. Lockie can be very playful and active! So it is going to be important to keep his mind stimulated and make use of his energy. Chimmy is a little sweetheart who loves cuddles.

They are used to seeing our shelter dog, and have shown no signs of discomfort with him. So they could live with a cat friendly dog.

They can be a little nervous, particularly with loud noises. Older children will be best.

Chimmy is on medication for his heart which he takes well. We will continue to provide this for him, along with check ups for his heart. These are to be done with Quarry Vets, so new owners must be able to travel there.
