Popeye is the star of this fridge magnet. He came to us from another shelter as they felt he'd been waiting too long to be adopted and would benefit from living in our Retirement Village rather than in a pen. He was a stray with a damaged eye which had to be removed. Unfortunately he is also blind in his remaining eye. This hasn't prevented him from settling into Village life. Popeye is a an easy going and gentle cat which has endeared him to all our volunteers and visitors and has helped him to be accepted by his feline companions despite his disability.
