This heart warming sequel to "Mia Is Lost" brings us a new adventure about the brave black kitten Mia. It is a perfect story to celebrate Black Cat Appreciation Day. The author is retired vet J K Keane who lives in Shropshire. It has been illustrated by Sue Richards who also lives in Shropshire,
Mia and her friends, new and old, help to rescue a friend who is trapped with no hope of escape.
The quote used to introduce this book is by Sarah Caldwell, the famous opera conductor:
"Learn Everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can - there will always be a time when you will be grateful you did."
This quote also applies to our continued efforts at Shropshire Cat Rescue to learn more about the cats in our care and to discover more ways in which to make their time with us as enriched and comfortable as possible.

Reviews
This is a lovely book for children who love animals, especially cats. It is well written and beautifully illustrated. Our granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed it, and so did we.
